Thomas Tan has extensive entrepreneurship experiences in conceptualizing, starting and growing businesses. Mr Tan is the Founding Partner of FT Capital Partner (FTCP), an Investment House and Financial Advisory. FTCP has investments in several resources, and real estate projects in Indonesia, advised both private and listed companies, as well as advised and managed substantial family assets. Mr Tan was previously the Chairman of a listed Indonesian mining company that had successfully operated nickel and coal mines in Indonesia.

Prior to that, Mr Tan was the Founder and Executive Director of a Consulting company in the People’s Republic of China with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Shenyang.

Mr Tan has sat on the Board of Directors and have been Chairman of several private and listed companies in Singapore and Indonesia.

Mr Tan graduated from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business with a Masters of Business Administration degree with High Honors.
